Solution setup

Before you can start using the business solution it is necessary to set up certain solution parameters, prepare the business data and install the required client and server software. The efficiency and quality of using the solution in your business greatly depend on sucessful execution of these activities.

Solution setup services

Preparing the solution for deployment is a mandatory part of each solution implementation. To simplify this process we have prepared various standardized service packages that not only specify the included services in detail, but also allow for full control of implementation process and lower the cost of included services.

Standard service packages

At this moment we offer the following packages of solution setup services:

·         standard setup package,

·         basic system setup package,

·         inventory setup package,

·         fixed assets setup package,

·         packages for basic and advanced setup of relationship management,

·         user authorization setup package,

·         master data catalog import package.

All solution setup services require mandatory participation of an authorised key user or a client-authorized expert, e.g. accountant. The only exception to this rule is the Standard setup package.

The Standard setup package covers the set of generally required data and is included in our standard database. We deliver this package with the solution at no charge. The data includes the standard RRiF Chart of Accounts (one of recommended standards in Croatia), the matching general posting setups, the VAT posting setups fine-tuned to Croatian regulations, and other useful data.

The Basic System setup package includes the setup of basic but non-standard data necessary for the functioning of the system. Among other things this package includes the adjustment of the built in business rules according to the client's requirements in the finance, sales and purchasing application areas. As part of this package we deliver the installation of the client and server software on client's IT infrastructure.

The Inventory setup package includes the preparation of basic system data for inventory application area. As a part of this package we will help you to prepare the data about inventory locations, item categories, item product groups, item price and discount groups etc.

The preparation of all data necessary to manage the company's fixed assets, e.g. depreciation methods, posting rules or fixed asset locations, is included in the Fixed assets setup package.

The Relationship management setup packages are intended for the preparation of important data in relationship management (CRM) application area. The Basic setup package includes the basic application area setup and the preparation of data necessary for contact management, while the Advanced setup package includes the preparation of data required for sales campaign and sales cycle tracking.

The User authorization setup package covers setup of user accounts and roles, which define the data and functionality access privileges for each user.

The services in the Master data catalog import package are intended for transfer of pre-verified master data catalog into the business solution. Master data, e.g. customer, vendor or item catalog, are critical for correct operation and simple usage of the business solution.

Additional services

Additional services cover those services that cannot be standardized due to highly specific requirements of each client. For example, these services include:

·         import of opening balances,

·         import of financial clasification data (dimensions) etc.

The Import of opening balances includes the transfer of open customer and vendor ledger entries, opening inventory, general ledeger opening balances and other important quantitative and financial opening balances into the business solution at a given date.

To facilitate the transfer of opening balances it is of critical importance to ensure the full cooperation of all responsible users, the current accounting services provider, and the current provider of support services for the existing accounting or business solution.

The Import of financial classification data covers the preparation of data that adds critical value to the business planning, control and analysis. For that reason the preparation of such data is a highly sensitive process. Because of that, as part of our services, we offer targeted presentations and workshops for adopting the related solution functionality, data preparation consulting and assistance in preparation of related business rules.
